urban:sydney – Gen X Soft Club Photography

Photography inspired by the Gen X Soft Club aesthetic

I captured key Gen X themes such as, urban city elements like trains, stations, skyscrapers, architecture, vivid reflections, using a palette of mostly greens, blues, and reds.

Focusing on the busy city life of business people at the station, and the contrast of urban lifestyle and technology.

The Gen X Soft Club vibe is still visible today if you know where to look – I enjoyed capturing still moments amid the city’s hustle and flow.

And yes… it wouldn’t have been a true Gen X photoshoot without my Sony CD Walkman blasting away. I also put together Urbansound: The Chill City Mix ’03 on SoundCloud so you can catch the vibe of the day through a mix.
